Expressing God Day by Day
I am 56 years old and several years ago I came to Los Angeles, CA. I am a typical first generation immigrant. I am an instructor at South Baylo University, but my life is mysterious, wonderful, and special. This is because every day, every moment, I can live enjoying the life-giving Spirit. The Lord who is the last Adam became a life-giving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45b) and now He dwells in my spirit. Therefore, amazingly, I came to posses God's life (1 John 5:12). In other words He made a dwelling place in me and He lives in me (Colossians 1:27). The very God who dwells in me, the eternal life, came into me as the seed of life like a grain of wheat and continually grows in me (John 12:24). Now I can live according to His life.
In the year 325AD at the religious congress, Athanasius declared that “God became a man that man may become God.” I came to live a life united with God (1 Corinthian 6:17). In the local church I am exercising to abide in Him by enjoying the Spirit moment by moment (John 15:4-10; Romans 8:15, 13). Whether I am at work or at home, I have the opportunity to express God in Christ. Really, as I am in the local church, in addition to the matter of salvation I have discovered that I am a member of the organic body of Christ for which I am living in thanksgiving (Romans 12:5). For the living in which Christ expands in me, I am full of thanks to the Lord.
